WELCOME TO MY GARDEN...

This was my garden in our first house, it was my sons soccer field until they grew up and got married. It makes me happy because every plant, every tree, every rock, stepping stone and shovel full of dirt I put there myself. It was my first attempt at designing a garden we moved shortly after these pictures were taken.

A LITTLE SLICE OF HEAVEN...

Over the Labor Day weekend I took a trip back in time...with my camera in hand I went to visit my Grandma's old house. It is empty and boarded up now but I wanted a few last pictures of it because I have many precious memories there. On the corner about 4 houses away is a garden shop that used to be a little market. I stopped in to see how it had changed since Grandma and I shopped there in the 60's. They have done a wonderful job restoring the front but stepping out on the back patio I was blown away...I was so happy I had my camera to save the inspiration of this beautiful garden.
