I wanted to share with you a treasure I found...the fine Irish art of Martin Driscole. I love how he captures all that is special about the homeland that is so obviously dear to his heart.
I love the Old Woman and the Basket. I've seen it before in an art school book. I love his other work, too--especially that old lady's creased and worn face. She is beautiful!

Beautiful art. I love the old lady with the basket ... I wonder if she is picking up what falls out of the basket every time she bends over ???
